RACHEL b. bef. 1773 1789 Tithable list of Nelson Co. KY - Ben Pope's district (present day western Nelson Co., parts of Bullitt Co. & Hardin Co.) Household of Thomas Crutcher included Isaac Crutcher, Edmund Crutcher and John Crutcher: blacks over the age of 16: Gilbert, Judy, Milley, Frank & Cate. A James Crutcher appears on the same list very close to this household tithed for himself and "RACHEL, a negro".

ROBERT Will of Mary Brown written 7 Nov 1817 Bullitt Co. KY. "I being in my proper senses and wishing to Dispose of what I have attained to Since my husband John Brown deceased I hereby Give and bequeath unto my two Sons namely Thomas Brown and Nicholas Brown Two Negroes Namely Robert and MORIAH" ( Bullitt Co. Note: At the sale for this estate Abraham, sold for $376, John Mudcat (who is not in the inventory unless he is simply listed as John) sold for $250, Burr, sold for $320, Dave Caution sold for $511, BOB APPLEGATE (shown in the inventory as Robert?) sold for $510 and Edmund sold for $201 all were purchased by Nicholas Simmons.
